The Mountains !

On our recent Sunday road trip we ended up in the mountains in Frasier Park, California.   Here are a few pictures from our day....

Snow Day !

Before the snow season was over, Papa decided he would take me to Mt. Pinos, California to enjoy a day of playing in the snow.   This was my first time to go sledding down the hill.

Fun is having a snowball fight with Papa....

I love playing in the snow and can't wait till next year so I can go again.  Next time, I will remind Papa to bring my gloves.

Elijah's First Adventure in the Poppy Reserve

It's that wonderful time of year again ... Time when all the Poppies are in full bloom @ the Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve in Southern California.  This was the first time Mommy and I have ever been.

Future Photographer like Nonna

Today I found the greatest little camera that I am sure Elijah will love.  I can't wait to share my passion for photography with him.  To teach him to see the beauty in his surroundings (flowers, trees, bugs, people, etc. etc. )  But most of all, it allows me to gain a greater understanding of his world as seen through his eyes.
