One Day ...

Dear Elijah,

I can't wait untill you are older and I can tell you all about what Mommy has done to make a better life for you.   Although your parents divorced, we all see now that it was the best thing for both of you, and truly a blessing from God.

Your Mommy has been able to move forward, forget the past and people that hurt her to find real happiness.   Mommy is loved by many and has a lot of great friends now.  In fact, many of her friends have little kids so you get lots of play dates.

To see how much happier Mommy is now is truly a gift.   You are her whole life.   Together the two of you will do great things in this lifetime...

Happy Mommy

A new level of happiness for you both !!
Mommy teaches you all kinds of things because she wants you to grow up smart and to have the best options for college.

Learning Time
Mommy also makes sure you are taught how to do chores to learn work discipline so when you grow up you will be successful at work.
Chore Time !!
She is also teaching you how to cook and bake.  You love to help, and of course get the first taste ..
Learning how to cook with Mommy

Mommy also realizes how important outdoor play time is so you are not just sitting in front of a TV or playing video games.  She believes in you getting lots of fresh air and exercise to keep healthy.

Lots of playtime

You are loved by your Mommy very much and she is such a great Mommy too...

Special Day

Dear Elijah

Last night Mommy brought you to work after your swim classes so she could go to her LAPD Training.

You loved walking around meeting all my friends.   You had the best manners and I was so proud.   You sat in my office and colored while I finished up on some work.  You loved all my photographs in my office, and seemed to be quite surprised to see your pictures there too.   I explained to you that I surround myself with pictures of people I love and places I've been that I love.

You thought it was the best thing when Papa John came walking around a corner.  You forgot Papa works there too.   You looked so proud !

We then went for a special Nonna & Elijah dinner out.   We went to Chilis and you loved it.  You got to color a chili pepper for the sick kids @ St. Jude.   When we walked out you  asked the hostess where she put your picture.  She showed you where it was and you smiled.  You were so excited that it was right in a place so everyone can see.

What a fun day you had.  You fell asleep sitting with your giant bear on the floor as we watched TV with Papa.   Swimming sure does wear you out...

Thank you for our special day little man.... I love you with all my heart.   ! Nonna xoxo

Elijah Says

Dear Elijah,

I am going to have to start doing blog updates on what you say.  I do them on facebook and everyone loves them.    So here goes...

Tonight on the way out to dinner, we were all talking about the rides you want to go on with Mommy @ Disneyland.  Papa John pipes in about how he should take you guys to Magic Mountain.   Mommy then says she doesn't like big roller coasters with Loops, and then you say... "Don't worry Mommy, I will keep you safe in my arms"....   Oh my goodness, you are just the cutest thing.

Movie Day

Dear Elijah,

Today Nonna took you and Mommy to the matinee movie to see "Glee 3-D", before Mommy had to go to her police training.  You had such a great time listening to the music and dancing in your seat.   You even seemed to know some of the songs.

Look how adorable you guys look in 3-D Glasses

Ray of Sunshine

Dear Elijah,

I've had some crazy busy days at work for the last week or so.   However, I just had to tell you how much I love having you live with us.   You certainly add that little ray of sunshine to my life and it just seems to make everything perfect again.     From the moment I arrive home at night to see your smiling face and to get my special hugs and kisses, everything in the world becomes right again.

You are loved beyond words little man..      Luv you Nonna xoxo  <3
