A Day in the Life of Elijah

Dear Elijah,

You are so darn cute and you always seem to bring a smile to my face.   You are like the sunshine in my day.

When I had to leave for work today, I thought it was so adorable that wanted to sit in my chair and watch your morning shows while you wait for me to return home.   You had your favorite blanket and your stuffed Winnie the Pooh and were all  snuggled up.

You went for a walk with your Mommy in your new "Jogger"   Thanks to Papa's friend, Joe, for giving you such a cool jogger.  It's specifically made for little  boys.

Here is the great Balloon Monkey that Papa got you when we ate at the BBQ Place.

You always get so excited when I return home.  I wanted to surprise you so I brought home a movie to watch together.  We watched the Alvin and the Chipmunks and we really liked it.

Another perfect ending to a wonderful day.... see you tomorrow !

Fireplace & Smores

Tonight Nonna had Papa lit a fire in our fireplace just so we could make smores. Nonna believes in living every day fully, so she said why wait to go camping to have one.   It's was so much fun and I had a hard time waiting for her to make me one.

Elijah the Car Guy ...

Elijah shows a love of muscle cars which makes Papa happy to no end.  Papa is a muscle car collector so he and Elijah are going to have a great time together.   Here are a few pictures that Elijah's mommy took today of them.

Errands with Nonna

When I came home from my visit with my Daddy I was a bit tired and fussy.  Nonna  wanted to take me to run some errands with her since Mommy was out with Papa.   I was very excited to go because I always love going Bye-Bye.

First we went to the park to feed the ducks and play on the playground.  It was a lot of fun and I listened to everything Nonna said.   She was so proud of me.

Here I am getting ready to go down the slide...

The park also had some spinning toys that I played with...

I asked Nonna if I could climb and she said Yes.
Here I am climbing like a big boy does...

More climbing ...

and even more climbing...

Posing for Nonna...

Next we headed over to the ducks to feed them...

Next we headed to the Car Wash to get Nonna's Jeep cleaned.  We went inside and I could watch the cars being washed through the window.  We then sat outside by the waterfall and also played some arcade games.

Yacht Club & Ducks

Nonna took Mommy and I to the Westlake Yacht club to see all the boats and ducks.   We had a great time.  I even got to chase the ducks for awhile, but they got tired of running with me  and swam off.

Here are pictures from the day:

Wow !!  Look at all those boats ...

Mommy & I posing in front of the boats...

Not another picture, I want to see the ducks !

Sailboats waiting...

My Mommy...

Nonna talks about how beautiful it is here
and how she would like a house with a boat dock in front of it too .

"Lake Minded", Nonna thought this was funny ...

The ducks resting before they met me  ...

The ducks come to greet us because they
think we have food...

Mommy and I talk with the ducks... "Duck Whisperer" !

They walk away,  but I think they want me to follow them ...

Hey, wait a minute you guys are going to fast ...

Thanks for slowing down, this is a much better pace...

The ducks got tired and went back in the water  to
get a break from all the running.
Mommy helps me walk and practice my balancing on the wall ...

Deep in thought...

Wet grass on my hands.  Nonna thinks I am very
inquisitive.   I think it is a good thing because she
seems happy when I get interested in things...

It's been a fun day, but now it's time for
my afternoon nap.    Good Night !
