Pumpkin Carving

Dear Elijah,

We had so much fun tonight baking Halloween cookies and carving pumpkins.  First, Papa helped you carve your pumpkin and then you helped Mommy with hers.   I think your favorite part was the cookies.

Pumpkin Patch 2010

Dear Elijah, 

Papa and I are so happy to have you and Mommy living with us.   We all want to start some wonderful new traditions for the holidays.     So, we are going to try out all kinds of fun things and then decide if we want it as an annual tradition.   Hold on to your hat, we are going to have some fun... !!  :-) 

First up on our Adventure ......... 

 The Pumpkin Patch ! 

Papa, Mommy, You and I all went to the Pumpkin Patch to look for the best looking pumpkins that would look good after we carves some designs into them.  The Pumpkin Patch had all kinds of fun things there to do.  They had those giant bouncies and slides,  arcade games, and even  a petty zoo.

Navy Bear

Dear Elijah,

Nonna took you and Mommy to "Build-A-Bear" to design a special bear for you to cuddle and hold while Mommy is away in the Navy.    Mommy put a special recorder inside so you can hear her voice whenever you pressed the paw.  This way you would not get so lonely while she is gone.
